Rösjöstugorna - Fulufjället Family Fun
A 5-day adventure trip for the family in Fulufjället National Park.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival & check-in at your 4-bed cabin at Rösjöstugorna mountain station. Bubbly, soda and some sweets are waiting for you. Today ends with an evening sauna.
TIP: Visit Naturum information centre before you get here.
Day 2
Today starts with breakfast outside, weather permitting. During the day, you canoe your family across the crystal clear lake to our secret hidden beach for a swim.
Day 3
Today starts with breakfast outside, weather permitting. Today is adventure day. We go pack-rafting and hiking. We start pack-rafting over the lake and into the small creek above Sweden’s highest waterfall, Njupeskär. We park just 50 meters from the waterfall and continue hiking on foot. We check the out the waterfall from above before continuing to Old Tjikko. The World’s Oldest Spruce, at 9,550 years old. We get back to the cabin in the afternoon and end the day in the sauna.
Day 4
Today starts with breakfast outside, weather permitting. Hike with an experienced guide to Lorthån, the greenest part of the mountain plateau. We eat lunch at the cosy cabin at Lorthån.
Day 5
Today starts with breakfast outside, weather permitting. Full day of fishing from on at the lakes by the cabins. Gear and a few fishing tips are included. Maybe today will end with arctic char for dinner? Today ends with an evening sauna.
Day 6
Today starts with breakfast outside, weather permitting. Check-out and a hike back to the car park.
TIP: Hike past the waterfall and the old forest.
INFORMATION: You will need to carry your meals and clothing in a backpack. Kids must be at least 10 years (or athletic enough for hiking and paddling a pack-raft).
