Rösjöstugorna - 3-day adventure with a mountain guide
All Inclusive 3-day adventure and trip with a mountain guide!
Welcome to Fulufjället National Park and the top of the mountain plateau! Two nights and three days in the wilderness.
ITINERARY:
Day 1
Arrival and check-in to our Glamping tents with bubbly and some sweets. Rest before dinner and end the day in the sauna and with a dip in the mountain creek.
TIP: Visit Naturum information centre before check-in.
Day 2
Start the day with an al fresco breakfast. Take a canoe across the lake to our hidden mountain beach with a picnic basket for lunch. Enjoy a swim in the crystal clear lake. End the day with a mountain meal. Reindeer, local veggies and lingonberries.
Day 3
Start the day with an al fresco breakfast. Today is adventure day. We go pack-rafting and hiking. We start pack-rafting over the lake and into the small creek above Sweden’s highest waterfall, Njupeskär. We park just 50 meters from the waterfall and continue hiking on foot. We check the out the waterfall from above before continuing to Old Tjikko. The World’s Oldest Spruce, at 9,550 years old.
When we get back to the mountain station, it’s time to check out and continue your Swedish adventure!
INFORMATION: You will need to carry your meals and clothing in a backpack. Kids must be at least 10 years old (or athletic enough for hiking and paddling a pack-raft).
