A hidden gem in the middle of the Swedish forest
In the heart of Sweden, about an hour through no man’s land, you will find a remote and secret treasure in the midst of the old Swedish forest where you can take time to unwind. Davy and Evi, a Belgian couple who moved to Sweden, offer a back-to-basics package where you will live and breathe the surrounding nature. An abandoned village that was last inhabited back in 1965. Here, you will live in the old Ejheden school, over- looking the stunning lake of Storejen. People in Eheden were largely dependent on their own resourcefulness and courage. Together with the wonder- ful, owners you will help out on the farm, taking care ff the village, cutting wood to heat your cabin and cooking meals together in the idyllic old boathouse. You will also get to choose a project that you as a fami- ly or couple want to do.

Every day will be filled with enjoyable outdoor activities, including canoeing, swimming and your very own sauna for relaxing in absolute tranquility. Walk the amazing old rediscovered hikes and experien- ce the true meaning of silence. Memorable days and cosy evenings around the fire await. A private chef, great food and drinks top off your stay. Prepare yourself for the true luxury of staying off the grid in the magical surrounding of an abandoned village while heating up your cabin and relaxing next to the woodstove after a day out. See if you can track down the last wolf hunter’s cabin, and look out for tracks left by the Big Five: Bear, Moose, Deer, Lynx, Wolf. You might even meet them!
